The other night we headed out to East Beach with some friends for a bonfire!
We've been wanting to have a bonfire since we moved here and we're so glad that we finally got around to it.
It was perfect weather for a fire...
Not too hot, not too cold.

Lawson wasn't too sure what to think.
He'd never seen a fire before so he spent at least 30 minutes just sitting and staring at it.
It was kinda nice to have him sit so quietly for so long!
(Now if only we could figure out how to get him to do that at other times...)
Even Raleigh enjoyed it...sort of.
This was her first time to the beach.
She wasn't too fond of the wind so she spent the majority of time snuggled up against me.
I'm not complaining though.
I love some Raleigh snuggle time!
Travis roasting some juicy hot dogs and making s'mores for dinner!
We love simple Friday nights like this.
