Palm Beach

A few weeks ago, the library here in Galveston had a free summer reading program kick off party at the local water park, Palm Beach.

And since we love events and things that are free of course we had to check it out!

Lawson had such a blast running around and playing in all the water.

We checked out the lazy river first and he loved just floating around on the tubes.

Well, until it came to all the water shooting out at you and all the waterfalls you have to go under.

Those were a different story.

They also have a splash pad area there which was by far his favorite place.

He was free to just run around wherever he wanted and still get ridiculously wet.

Basically, it was an almost two year old's dream!

He doesn't look extremely happy in a few of these pictures because it was starting to get a little chilly for him by the end of the evening because of the sun going down.

But of course that didn't keep him from still wanting to run around and continue getting wet!

And he definitely was not very thrilled when we said it was time to go...

So yeah, it's so nice to have a great local library that does fun things like this for kids!

I registered him in their summer reading program and we've been reading a lot of books lately.

And I swear we've read some of his favorite books at least a hundred times...

(What is it with kids and not getting sick of things very easily?!)
