O Christmas Tree

So we were finally able to set up and decorate our Christmas tree tonight!

(The first one we bought last week was defective and today was the first chance we've gotten to return it and get a good one.)

This will be mine and Travis's fourth Christmas together since we got married and sadly this is our very first tree we've ever had!

The last three years we were always so busy with finals around this time of year and we always took off half way through December for Christmas vacation it felt like anyway so we never really bothered with getting a tree.

But with having Lawson this year,

(well I guess we technically had him last year but he was only 3 months old and completely  unaware so it doesn't count...)

of course we got a tree!

You should have heard him when we first plugged it in and all the lights lit up.

He literally gasped and went "OHHHHHH!!!!"

It was priceless.

We're not sure how long the ornaments are going to last.

He had no interest in hanging them on the tree.

He was too busy trying to throw them all over the place and shooting hoops with them like all other "balls".

Hopefully they'll survive the wrath of Lawson this Christmas season...

This place feels a lot more Christmas-y now that we have our tree up.
