Elephants

So life has been kinda quiet around here lately.
We're definitely enjoying some down time with Travis being off from school for 8 weeks.
It's been so nice to just have a bunch of relaxation time with him and Lawson!

However, on Monday we decided to quit being lazy for a day and we ventured up to the Houston Zoo once again.

This is Lawson's  fourth time going to the Zoo and it was definitely the best time we've ever had.
The child was in complete heavenly bliss for the 3 hours we were there!

It was fun because he actually recognized several of the animals and could call them by name.
The best though was the elephants.

Oh my.
The child is obsessed with elephants!

They have two different areas for the elephants at the Houston Zoo and he just kept running back and forth between the exhibits to say hi to each of his new friends.
And the whole way home from the Zoo he just kept saying "Elephant" over and over.

And now it's been three days since we saw them and he is still talking about them.

Just this morning he asked me, yet again, "Bye, Bye? Elephants??"
It's pretty cute.

Needless to say, we definitely know how to keep Lawson happy now a days...

Just give him anything that has to do with an elephant!
