Easter was a lot of fun this year for us.
Lawson is finally at the age where he can participate in activities pretty well now.
Last Saturday, we had a breakfast and eater egg hunt with our ward.
It took him a just a little bit to catch on to what to do but he eventually got the hang of it and loved it!

He then proceeded to take it back out and put it back where he found it.
With a lot of encouragement from us he finally decided to leave eggs in his bucket rather than taking them back out right after.
Pointing out where other eggs were hiding before running to pick them up...
Sadly, these were the only eggs he was able to nab before the other kids had grabbed all the other ones.
But five eggs isn't bad for his first time!
Then we decided to show him all the yummy goodies inside the eggs...
And then he got really excited!
Gotta love that smile!
Overall, I would say Lawson's first Easter egg hunt was quite the success!

We can't wait for next year when he'll be able to keep up with the older kids just a little bit better :)
