New Luxuries

Well after 6 months of life we finally decided it was time for Lawson

to get some new luxuries in his life.

Now we know that the majority of babies have these things before 

they are even born but due to a very limited living space up until now 

we haven't buckled down and got these things yet for our poor son.

Anyway, it has honestly felt like Christmas around here because of 

all the new things we've got over the last few days.

So without further ado...

Lawson finally got a high chair!

Him and the Bumbo weren't getting along very well lately due to its sort of

restrictiveness and it being a tiny bit too small for him.

But he loves being in a high chair. 

Seriously, he'll stay in there for an hour or more and stay entertained with almost anything.

Awesome for mommy!

He's lovin' those little puffs things that he can eat!

Plus they also keep him quite entertained...

Alright, so next on our list of luxuries...

Lawson finally, finally has an actual real bed for himself!

Poor kid...

He slept in a bassinet for the first 4 months.

Then he's been in his play n pack for the past 2 months.

Let's just say he's definitely been ready for a real bed for a while now.

I found this crib on Craigslist from this lady in Boulder.

It honestly looks basically brand new and hardly used.

Guess how much?

$100.

Including the mattress.

Score us!

 Another exciting luxury here.

We finally can use the cute nursery bedding we got way back forever ago.

I just love the cute animal theme!

 Funny side note...

I was looking up this collection online today and noticed that all the animals have names.

My favorite one is the monkey.

His name is "Milton the Monkey"

Which is pretty funny because that's Travis' dad's name.

So now everytime I think of Travis' dad I think of 

"Milton the Monkey!"

 One of his new favorite things to do is play with his bare feet.

Too cute!

 Definitely enjoying his new turf!
