Our Trip to Colorado

This past weekend Travis and I were able to go back to Colorado for a number of events! We were fortunate enough to be able to fly but we must be jinxed with flights being delayed or something...the last three flights we've been on have all been delayed a significant amount of time! But nevertheless, we made it! First was our brother Nick's high school graduation. It was awesome to be there for him and was a lot of fun to be a part of the Anderson family now! (It also felt weird though because my high school graduation was only two years ago...crazy!) Here are a few pictures of the family and Nick after receiving his diploma!

The Bouvang Family!
My family decided to come out for the long weekend and celebrate with us and Nick.

Entire extended Anderson family. So big and so much fun!

Travis and I with the lucky graduate!

So after the graduation ceremony there was a huge party for Nick and a bunch of other families with graduates. There was TONS of great food including pizza, nachos, endless desserts (including the delicious Costco chocolate cake!), popcorn, and homemade snow cones! They also had two of the big blow up toys to play on. One was a castle with an area to jump in and the other was an obstacle course of sorts which was a ton of fun! Travis ended up ripping one of his fingernails off but that didn't stop us from still having fun. Everyone was racing through the obstacle course including both all of our siblings, Travis' dad and both our moms! Wow... :)

Another reason for going home to Colorado this weekend was Travis' cousin Breanna came home from her mission in Hong Kong! It was so great to meet her and get to know her. It was crazy to here all of her stories from China and to here her speak that crazy language! Maybe I'll get to visit China one day...

Yesterday for Memorial Day we had a pool party/BBQ with the entire family. There's nothing better than great food, a pool/hot tub and tons of family! All of the younger cousins decided to hold an olympics and competed in a number of different events including a belly flopping contest! Travis got to be one of the judges while I cheered on from the crowd. Overall, it was an amazing weekend. I absolutely love being around family! It was sad to leave and come back to reality...but we'll be seeing everyone again soon hopefully!
